How do borderless gifts work?

Borderless gifts are purchases made by individuals with the intent of gifting them to someone else. The recipient of a borderless gift has the opportunity to exchange the proof of purchase for items indicated in the purchase description at a time that is convenient for the recipient, not to exceed one year from the date of purchase.

Will I get a foreign transaction on my bank account?

No, your borderless gift will appear in your bank statement as a transaction from "SP* Borderless Gifts". The advantage of doing business with us lies in that you have only one US transaction to be concerned with.

When does my borderless gift expire?

Your borderless gift expires one year after its purchase date.

The business for the borderless gift I received is not open any longer. What do I do?

If the business closes within one year of purchase, please contact our customer service and we will refund your purchase.

I didn’t really care for the service I received. Can I get a refund?

Once your borderless gift has been redeemed, it is no longer eligible for a refund. But please do contact us, so we can work with the venue to see if we can find a resolution. 

How do I redeem my borderless gift?

After receiving a borderless gift, contact the business on your certificate and make an appointment to redeem the service.

How are locals vetted?

We travel the world to select the best places for you. We work hard to make sure that we are offering places of very high quality to our customers. 

My recipient does not have email? Can she/he bring a printed borderless gift for service?

Because our gifts are digitally fulfilled, we require the recipient's email address. A printed copy can be presented, if desired, at the venue. But we need the recipient's email address to fulfill the purchase. 

Can I get money back if I consume less than what’s specified in the borderless gift?

Borderless Gifts do not hold monetary value. They represent a pre-payment for the specified goods and/or services. You can redeem your borderless gift for the services indicated, but know that no change will be provided.

What if the location does not accept my borderless gift?

I was given a Borderless Gift but it has another name as the user. Am I still able to use it?

Borderless Gifts are not transferable. They can only be redeemed by the person with the name provided as the gift recipient at the time of purchase. As well, the venue may require proof of identification matching the name on the certificate.

If I purchase a borderless gift that is to be emailed to the recipient at a later date, when will my card be charged?

The credit card entered at the time of purchase is charged immediately after the order is approved.

I attempted to place an order online but my order was rejected. What should I do?

How do I track a Borderless Gift?

Electronic borderless gifts are typically delivered within 1-2 business days after purchase. Standard business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US holidays. If the intended recipient does not receive their Borderless Gift in the standard business time frame above, please contact our support team via phone at +1 (469) 677-7823, or email at info@borderlessgifts.com

I sent the Borderless Gift to the wrong e-mail address. Can this be corrected?

I just purchased a Borderless Gift but I want to change it to a different gift. Can that be done?

Can I use my Borderless Gift for gratuities or tips?

A tip to the service provider is not included in the purchase price. 

Can I order a borderless gift online to be e-mailed to a friend of mine?

Yes, you may order your Borderless Gift at borderlessgifts.com. Please follow the online directions for selecting and ordering your gift to be e-mailed to you, a friend, or family member.

What if the business I want is not listed on your site?

We are currently evaluating expansion of Borderless Gifts into more cities and countries. We would love to hear from you as to what other locations you would like to see included. Let us know on our Suggest-a-City page.
